hello,

when i go to admin/cgi for the first time to change my password, i get an error.

it tells me that it cannot find file cgi-bin/track/data/adps.txt.

Note, I created a directory called track in my cgi-bin and uploaded all files. made sure permissions were set as instructed.

Inside of my track folder is another folder call data. Note, files uploaded above sit outside this folder.

Please advise.

Thanks Very Happy

Keith

I believe the adps.txt file should be created by the
program when you first run it so I am not sure why it says
'cannot find' as opposed to 'cannot create'.

Are you certain you have the paths set up correctly
(in case that might be the reason ) ?

here is the actual error message.
Program Error

Your request could not be processed. This was because:

Cant open /home/www/keithborom/cgi-bin/track/data/adps.txt(No such file or directory)!

CGI Toolbox
Ad tracking program
maintained with

checked path to perl in files needed. I had to change path in cgi.admin to just read #!/user/bin/perl

still error persist. do you have any suggestions I could try?

Thanks Smile

Keith

Can you check, using FTP or file manager, whether
the folder /data/ contains that file

It would seem to be a path error
